multiple iexplore.exe "kind boob.exe" LITEDRIVECHIC.exe

My Windows XP was slow to load and gave an "END NOW" "...loose data..."

popup on exit - it was running slow because there were two iexplore.exe

running in processes.

I loaded the free version of AVG and it found and removed

generic10.YLG

But the problems remained (sdfix did not fix it either). Eventually I

fixed it by using hijackthis that showed up

kind boob.exe

LITEDRIVECHIC.exe

And when let hijackthis fix the registry entries for both and then

used CCleaner and cleaned everything and then deleted

kind boob.exe

LITEDRIVECHIC.exe

from

C:/Windows/Prefetch/

and rebooted, it worked i.e. both copies of iexplorer.exe no longer

ran as processes in the task manager and the normal speed returned.

How wonderful for you. Shall we alert the media?

I am *very* grateful to this forum because I knew absolutely nothing

about the above tools or how to use them but thanks to you and everyone

else, I managed to fix my problem (there is no reference to "kind

boob.exe" on Symantec etc).

I did not say this or put in any more details because it was 3.00am and

I was (am still) totally knackered.

So many thanks again

PS I found this forum by Googling "end now" and iexplore.exe and "lose

data" and "kind boob.exe"...

...I assume some other poor sole will be doing likewise in the future.
