lexmark X1270

I have installed this printer but cannot find the all in one centre to use

for scanning and copying, when trying to scan using the control buttons on

the top panel, they do not work, i contacted lexmark, who told me to un

install then re install the printer but when trying to uninstall i get the

following messages:-

uninst.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close

AND

unable to remove lexmark specified printer driver in use

Please can anyone help
