Sometimes when I logged on and check Windows Task Manager I see that

"teatimer.exe" is one of the processes that is active. Can anyone tell me

what this process is about?

Hello Jack,

Do you use spybot? It's part of it. If you google for "teatimer.exe" you

get round 200.000 hits

Best regards

One can only assume that you are running Spybot Search and Destroy as

'teatimer.exe' is part and parcel of that application.

It's part of Spybot Search & Destroy.

It's the resident program from Spybot Search and Destroy (it gets

installed when you run that program) that protects you from having

anyone other than yourself from making changes to your registry.

If you've never installed a program or made a change to your Windows

setup then you probably haven't seen a popup from Teatimer.

It is a resident spyware application built in with Spybot. I have

mine turned off because I have Spy Sweeper. Teatimer may slow your

system, but it better than nothing.
