changes in windows behaviour

Two recent changes, not simultaneous.

The first: Folder window does not automatically refresh to display change

in folder contents, e.g. if files are cut, pasted, deleted or renamed.

Change only displays if I click on View/Refresh.

The second. Double-clicking no longer opens a folder window. Instead it

opens Search.

Re: changes in windows behaviour

Quick fix for both issues:

Go to Start/Run and type in: regsvr32 /i shell32

Re: changes in windows behaviour

Thank you, that certainly brought back opening folders by double-click.

Probably the refreshing too, though since that was intermittent I shan't know

for a while. A very useful and, for once, simple trick!
