If i have 2 identical servers with exact bios, raid firmware etc and also

raid configs, Can i simply move the disks to the other server and boot as

normal?

 

I ahve been asked to investigate this and it looks possible but i'm just

seeing if anyone ahs experience of this.? The data is on a san so i can

publish this to the HBA's in the 2nd server.

 

I understand there may be some drive letter remapping required but has

anyone ever done this?
