Hi,

I am sure this is easy but I am unable to work out how to do it so any

advice is greatly appreciated.

I have SBS Standard Edition and Windows 2000 SP4 with Exchange 5.5

installed. I am also using VPOP3.

I would like to forward emails that come into that domain to the user at

another email address that is outside the network (e.g. name@hotmail ). I

have tried to setup a new contact on the server but it will not allow the

same name and when I do set one up it Exchange doesn't 'see' it.

Create a Custom Recipient in 5.5.

Add the external email address to it

Add it to the forwarding dialog box of a user in 5.5 admin

If you wanted to forward all the mail that comes in to an external

user, then thats a different question and one that would require a 3rd

party solution.
