Hey guys i will be installing a wi-fi printer tomorrow on my home network, however is there any way of allowing CERTAIN machines to print documents and not everyone? thanks guys:)

It might depend on whether you have your network set up as a Workgroup or Homegroup. If it's a Workgroup you can set a password in Network and sharing. Only people with a password to your user account can share. If your not sharing files and folders with anyone you can disable sharing all together.

 

As a rule if sharing is turned on you will be sharing your printer with everyone if you use the Windows settings. More info at these links.
