2 Ethernet Lines, how can be combined into one?

Hello! Got 2 ADSL modems [1: LinkSys, 2: Corecess] and 2 different phone

lines! on each i got 256kb up and down, so is there a way i could combine

them into one? on system ofcourse; tryed to do somewhat everything so would

have doubled speed, but nothing works!

Any help is really apriciated, thank you!

You'll need the knowledge and co-operation of your ISP. They may charge

more, in which case you might find it worthwhile (i.e cheaper) to just get a

single faster connection.

 

You'll also want to look up things like Multi-link PPP, MLPPP.

Thank you, while i was waiting for a reply founded a multilink app... going

to try it now, and i read that my ISP dont combine them on their end... so i

think i'll use this app for now :'(

 

and to tell you, here, where i curently "Passing through.." lol they got

pretty worthwhile Net :( 256kbp/s 10gig max... and if you want higher will be

like 1mbp/s but 1gig :'( but 3 times more price of 256...

This is a networking question and not a WinXP question and should have been posed in a

networking news group.

 

Assuming you have two accounts (not one DSL account) using two phone lines with two DSL

modems, you need a Router with two WAN ports that supports load-balancing.
