Task Scheduler & Event Logs

We'd like to have some way of recording when scheduled tasks run in the

windows event log (application/system doesn't really matter which). It would

appear windows does not do this by default. Is there a policy somewhere to

enable this? If not does anyone know of an alternate way to obtain such

logging?

You could invoke Logevent.exe from the Windows Resource Kit or

eventcreate.exe under WinXP each time you launch a scheduled task.
