betel23 Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 I have asked about and getting conflicting info...650/1000 watt Building a new machine and would like to know what is the safest PSU for a i7 920 running off an Asus P6X58D M/B. Thank's Quote
Plastic Nev Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Hi, Do you intend installing a separate and more powerful graphics card? If so we would need to know that and type you intend fitting, otherwise I doubt you would need even 600watts, though if it can be afforded, what can supply a lot will cope quite happily with a little, and gives you scope for expansion later. Thank's for the replies... Will keep you informed by being a nuisance no doubt. Rather get good advice than a fried machine Regards Quote
