Hi, not sure if this is the place for this, but I am receiving the above when I

try to open lots of software on my computer. Even now when I ran a McAfee

scan, I could not look at the result, got the above message instead.

Have had a problem with NVU and Kompozer for some time, keep getting error

message that a dll is missing, but when check the files it is present.

Nor can I update Adobe Reader, I get a 'Catastrophic error" message when I try.

Also now I cannot watch webinars on "GoToWebinar", the picture side of the system disappears off my screen and I am left with just sound. I have to close down my whole computer to shut the program down.

In general, the computer is running very slow. Have tried all the usual, uninstalls,

re-installs, etc., ran Ccleaner, Malwarebytes, McAfee scans, etc. but nothing

has helped, and it seems to be gradually getting worse.

I am using Windows XP on an HP Compaq AMD 64 Athlon X2.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ritaj, this is sounding a lot like a registry corruption, especially if you have tried any so called registry cleaners in the past, or allowed CCleaner into the registry.

Do you have any kind of system restore disk?

If so let us know please and maybe we can go from there.

Nev.
