Possible (is it ?) to revert to single user XPPro with no login screen from multiple login

My sister wants to revert to single user machines (XPPro) with no login screen

at all, which is quite possible to have if the computer is setup that way from

the start, ie no passwords entered at installation, Administrator pw and user

left blank.

But I have never been able to revert to a perfectly clean startup direct from

switch-on once the machine has been used with any user login and password, not

that Ive tried very hard! Is it possible to do direct startup without XP

reinstallation from zero?? Just cleaning out and wiping the multiple users and

removing the password doesnt seem to do the trick, you just get the login screen

with a blank password accepted if your lucky!

Maybe one of the cleanup type programmes will do this?

Thaught others might have tried to do this and succeeded ? Anyone?!

Help wd be appreciated.

Here are some simple recipes:

- To set the password for the current user to a blank:

* Click Start / Run / cmd {OK}

* Type this command:

net user "%UserName%" ""{Enter}

- To log in automatically:

* Type this command:

control userpasswords2{Enter}

* Click the desired user's logon name, then

click OK and enter the password when

prompted (which is probably a blank).

Start | Run, type "control userpasswords2" Select the account you want

to logon to automatically. Then uncheck the box "Users must enter a

user name and password to use this computer."

Or do the same thing with TweakUI.
