I have a remote office which are running Windows XP Pro in a workgroup. I

would like to add them onto a domain vai a VPN. Is that possible?

I haven't personally done this before but, theoritically this is possible.

After VPNed, try setting the gateway to the gateway of the corporate office

and join to the domain.

Let me know if this works. :)

How do you plan to connect the remote site? If you connect it using a

site-to-site VPN, the situation is pretty simple. The machines in the remote

site should be able to see any machine in the WAN and join the domain with

no trouble as long as they have the correct DNS address.
