Guest Aaron Tech Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 I have a remote office which are running Windows XP Pro in a workgroup. I would like to add them onto a domain vai a VPN. Is that possible?

After VPNed, try setting the gateway to the gateway of the corporate office and join to the domain. Let me know if this works. :) -- Jabez Gan Microsoft MVP: File Storage "Aaron Tech" <noreply@arrontech.com> wrote in message news:%23nixJ99xIHA.2068@TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... >I have a remote office which are running Windows XP Pro in a workgroup. Guest Bill Grant Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 Re: Adding a PC onto a domain via a VPN How do you plan to connect the remote site? If you connect it using a site-to-site VPN, the situation is pretty simple. The machines in the remote site should be able to see any machine in the WAN and join the domain with no trouble as long as they have the correct DNS address.
