My CRT went bad and my monitor was replaced with a LCD monitor. I complained

about the poor sharpness of the fonts in windows XP and office products. It

is like there is a shadow on all the characters. I changed the LCD monitor

again. Same problem. The fonts ibeing used are True Type Fonts. any

suggestions? There was no problem with my CRT monitor except it went pinkish.

Have you configured your display settings to use the LCD's native

resolution, as specified by its manufacturer? Most LCDs have only one

resolution at which they provide optimum viewing.

The easiest way would be to consult the manual that came with it.

Second easiest way would be via the manufacturer's support web site.
