which of this stuff do I really need here? Trying to clean out!!!!!!!! When I

hide all microsoft services there are only 6, yet I have pagess of services

listed under here, does this seem right?

 

 

Also, cannot decide which startup are absolultely necessary on windows xp.

Can I get a briefing, please>

Do NOT use msconfig to play with services.

 

Find the services option under Administrative Tools.

Generally speaking, you should keep all the Microsoft services just as

they are. There may be some tweaks you can do, but they're probably not

worth doing.

 

What are the six non-MS services? They're probably fine just as they

are, too, but since it's only six, you may want to research what they

are.

The hell they aren't. Freeing up RAM comes to mind for one thing.

 

There are many services running that are not needed. Period. Do some

research on the subject and you'll get an education.

Many multiple services are perfectly normal in XP even if you clean out

third party apps.

Since your statement is so broad, I will make one.

 

Many multiple services are not perfectly normal for a lot of users.
