Plastic Nev Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Without actually doing so on my own laptop or at least trying, I doubt there is any way to disable the keyboard in favour of an external USB keyboard, either via device manager or other software rout. I feel it may mean opening it up and physically disconnecting it from the rest of the machine, normally a ribbon cable. I think you may find instructions for replacement of a laptop keyboard on 101, all you need to do is go as far as disconnecting the old one, have a look here= http://www.laptoprepair101.com/laptop/2009/12/05/how-to-disassemble-laptop-keyboard/ Hope that is of help. Jelly Bean Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Are you saying multiple IE opens when you click it? Does this happen with any other programs? If it is multiple IE only,do they show your home page or other pages such as advertising? This could be malware? Quote Rwy'n ceisio fy ngorau......................
