Just recently i put some new flooring down in my room so i moved my pc and everything out of the room and after putting everything back in and reconnecting my pc to my lcd tv via a hdmi cable the computer turned on fine but the tv didnt recognize anything being connected to it. Ive tried the obvious stuff like different cables and checking the connections at the back of the tv but they all work fine. I also tried a lcd computer monitor which works fine on my brothers computer but i had the exact same problem the screen didnt recognize my computer being connected to it. Im completely baffled because it all worked fine a few days ago if anyone could shed any light on the possible problem it would be really helpfull.

Hello there.

Have you tried the TV on your brothers computer?

I would firstly sugest you update the GPU driver and install the latest software for your make and model of GPU....

Then use the software to configure your GPU,TV.

I would try connecting my brothers pc to the tv but his computer doesnt have a hdmi slot. I dont think its an issue with the tv though because my ps3 still runs through it fine. I would try updating the gpu driver but seen as i dont have any form of a screen in my house that my computer will connect to i havent got a display. I literally switch the pc on and wether its connected to the tv or the lcd screen they both say on the screen no device connected.
