Question please...

Can I partition my Hdd which is currently on my computer using 32bit use it to install 64 bit system on my new build and access either 64 &32 bit from the new machine?

First of all if you're talking about putting your old drive in a new computer Windows will need to be reinstalled on that drive to match the new hardware.

 

If you want two drives with Windows or a dual boot drive with 32 and 64 bit I don't see why you can't do it. You need to actually install them though as I said. Not just swap a drive.

 

Also to keep in line with Microsoft licensing rules that will constitute the need for an additional license even if both operating systems are on the same disks.

I think also you will need a processor that can handle 64bit, though I would wait till one of our other more hardware knowledgeable members answers that one.
