i recently reformatted my computer and reinstalled windows xp onto it.

Everything is working except for the sound. The computer will not

recognize that there are any devices plugged in. i have a clue

perhaps that the sound card was within the motherboard and i needed the

disk that came with it (it is a customized built computer, no brand) to

reinstall the drivers and all that. But i am lost! please help!

Re: no sound?

Then you need the driver CD that came with the motherboard. So you will

need to find it, contact the builder for it, or determine the

motherboard make and model and download what you need from the

manufacturers web site.
