Guest Meinolf Weber Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 Re: Stop Error Hello maitakeboy, We didn't know what you have as hardware, so how should we know this. Check your device manager first for exclamation or question marks. Then check all event viewer entries which are warnings or errors. You can use some hardware scan tools, maybe from the server vendor to check the hardware. Check out this one, maybe it helps you to create a dump file with more infos: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307973 Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. ** Please do NOT email, only reply to Newsgroups ** HELP us help YOU!!! http://www.blakjak.demon.co.uk/mul_crss.htm > My W2K3 server has been occasionally rebooting with the following > error: > > Event Type: Warning > Event Source: USER32 > Event Category: None > Event ID: 1076 > Date: 6/11/2008 > Time: 9:49:44 AM > User: PHILADELPHIA\administrator > Computer: EXCHANGE2 > Description: > The reason supplied by user PHILADELPHIA\administrator for the last > unexpected shutdown of this computer is: System Failure: Stop error > Reason Code: 0x805000f > Bug ID: > Bugcheck String: 0x00000005 (0xfb5db020, 0xfd3df1d8, 0x00000001, > 0x00000000) > Comment: 0x00000005 (0xfb5db020, 0xfd3df1d8, 0x00000001, 0x00000000) > For more information, see Help and Support Center at > http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp. > Data: > 0000: 0f 00 05 08 .... > The WER said it was a device driver issue.
