Re-installing programs to the wrong user account

Hi All,

Recently had an XP crash due to a bad Norton Ghost download. Have

re-installed a fresh copy of winxp on the same drive but trying to re-install

some of my other programs (notable adobe) the setup files keep trying to load

into my old user account e.g. C:\Documents and

settings\wronguseraccount\local settings\application data etc

I've removed all previous traces from the registry but realise there may be

some hidden files.

Anyone with ideas?

Thanks,

Pete

How to do a Clean Install of Windows XP

Start by changing the BIOS setting to Boot from CD drive first.

Then see below:

From Michael Steven's: http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/cleanxpinstall.html

more info: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/XPClean.htm
