Hello,

We have several Terminal Serves in our environment that occassionly stop

accepting RDP connections. If we access the server from the console we

encounter a grey screen with no login prompt.

Windows Server 2003 Std.

SP1

Are there any errors or warnings in the EventLog of these servers

when this happens?

Have you considered installing SP2? It contains a couple of hotfixes

for issues like "the TS stops responding", for example (but there are

more):

923630 - A Windows Server 2003-based terminal server stops responding

to new connection requests, and the logon window does not appear

Re: Terminal Server - Unable to

Hi Vera,

There are no specifc entried in the Event Log when this occurs. We will

eventually deploy SP2, but I think we will try the hotfix first. Thanks for

your reply!!
