KenB Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 (edited) Hi, If the WPS button on the front panel doesn't do what you expect .... Type 192.168.1.254 into the address bar and gain access to your Router software. Search for Wireless and then look for Access Point. There should be an option there to enable / disable. If you disable this the Wireless LED should go out on the front of the router. You could also disable "Broadcast SSID" Edited April 8, 2011 by KenB Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !! kevh Posted April 8, 2011 Author Posted April 8, 2011 Thank you very much for replies , got me on the right path and then found out that the wps button if held down for 10 - 15 seconds turns off the wireless side off and the same again to turn back on if required. This works a treat . Thanks again Cheers Kev  Quote Home Pc: Intel i5 - 4460 3.20 ghz 8gb Kingston Hyper-X Fury Dual-DDR3 1600MHz Windows 10 64bit HomeEVGA 960 GTX SSC 2Gb GDDR 5 DX12Corsair VS430watt PSU250GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD24" Benq Led screen Work Pc: Quad Q9550 2.83ghz4gb XMS2 DDR2 800mhzAsus P5QL Mobo Windows 7 PremiumPalit GTS250 1GB ddr3 450watt FSP PSU640Gb WD Caviar Blue HD22" Samsung Lcd (1680x1050)
