New server install, installed TS and licensing.

Try to connect to RDP, put in the username and password, get the "invalid

user or password" message, even if I use the administrator logon.

Getting to the invalid username or password error means the TS connection is

succeeding but user authentication is failing.

Few things you can try:

1. Check the event log for any error, both on client and server.

2. Try using the IP address to connect to eliminate the possibility of DNS

resolving the name to another IP.
