Guest Mapo Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 I have a installed a Medion digital drawing tablet (from Aldi) I'm now getting a message when I close my lid saying WTService is preventing your computer from going into standby. When I do a search there is no record of WTService in my computer. I'm using Windows XP home edition.

Control Panel (Classic View) Administrative Tools Services Find it Double-click it DISABLE it (play with the area where it says "Automatic". Then STOP it. Do the OK or APPLY thing as needed. If you did it right, you'll be fine. Don't know if your Aldi toy will work any more, but your current problem will be fixed.
