terminal services on production 2008 boxes?

I used to use terminal services on 2003 boxes - just the two license remote

administration, not application mode for 2003. Does 2008 have something

similar? I'm not in a production environment yet but it recommends against

installing TS on boxes running any roles during installation.

Yes, Windows 2008 also has Remote Desktop for Administration (that's

what you are using now on your 2003 servers).

Terminal Service means what you call "application mode" (this

terminology has changed from W2K to 2003). So installing TS is not

recommended on servers which run other roles, but Remote Desktop for

Administration is OK (and you don't have to install that, just enable

it).
