I have a Windows 2003 Server SP2, All has been working fine for about 12 -

13 months.

A couple weeks ago i installed a new software package, it requested i update

microsoft 1st. I did and now my Terminal server disconnects and i have to

restart the server to get it running again.

What i have tried.

1) stop start the service -- Nothing

2) under my computer disable remote then restart and enable remote -- That

seemed to work for about 4 days then it started again.

Please help

By disconnection, do you mean if you TS to the machine, it starts a session

and then disconnects? Can you please provide more details.

Re: Terminal Server Disconnect - Server then Need to Be Restarted

What I mean is, after a server restart we can connect to the ts server then

after a non specific amount of time the server connection drops. We have

tested the internet and it works also the server is still running and there

are event logs created.

To reconnect to the ts server again we have to restart the server.

Also the TS server is also our file server.

I have looked at everything I know and can’t fix the problem

Please help
