cd/dvd drive gone missing

hi i have a HP pc and its only like 2months old. i was on my pc earlier today, entered a disc to play a game and all was fine. however i came to do so an hour ago and it kept telling me to insert disc (which i had) now my media player does not recognise discs, i have no cd drive in my computer or my hardware list think in control panel. its nowhere to be found. please help!!!!

 

 

 

 

i just dont understand how my drives have dissapeared within half hour, its as though they were never there. im my parents found out i broke another pc im in a bit of trouble so any help will be appreciated

Call HP support and get it fixed under warrenty.
