Idle session limits for all users except for administrator

Hi there.

 

I have set idle, disconected and active session limits for all users,

but it affects Administrator too. What can i do to avoid Administrator

to get logged off as all other users?

 

I'll apreciate very much if you could help me on this one, as i can't

figure it out after many google searches!

What is the Windows version of Terminal Services are you running?

 

This setting is available per user, you can try lusrmgr.msc, double click a

user, select the sessions tab.

The problem is that i don't have the terminal server users in a OU,

so i would have to do that manually, there are a lot of users here :/

I see, if you have many users, using TSUSEREx may be a bit too much work.

The session limit is per winstation/connection setting. One way you can try

is to add another nic card to your server, create another rdp-Tcp connection

for admin use only, and ask the admin to connect to the new rdp-tcp

connection/winstation.

I created a GPO that set no limit for the admin linked to the domain,

but that GPO don't override the rdp-tcp session limits. How can i

configure a GPO to override whatever is set on the rdp-tcp connection

settings?
