Guest biff Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 I noticed that my scheduled Symantec Antivirus CE scans were not running when they were supposed to these last 5 days I read this may be a problem with the task scheduler not running I open services.msc and see the task scheduler has status of started but when I look in the task manager, I do not see svchost.exe in the processes tab. Shouldn't this be running? If I go to services.msc and restart the task scheduler, I still do not see svchost.exe running in the processes tab of the task manager. I am using windows server 2003 service pack 2.

But it isn't really relevant. The SAV scans failing to run should've generated an error in the event logs - I'd start there.
