RandyL Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 As the DVD and CD components for reading disks on a combo drive are different it's highly likely that just the DVD portion has failed. This is not uncommon. Quote We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else. ilovemovies Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 you could try downloading codecs to play your dvd, some dvds require special codecs to play dvds, if you look for a program called klite codecs and install that it may work.. hope it helps Quote
Plastic Nev Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Did you restore back to factory settings because the DVD wasn't working, or did it stop working after the restore? Nev.
