Incoming email sound does not work with Outlook 2003 on Terminalse

We have Office 2003 Standard (SP3) locally installed on our Windows Server

2003 Terminal Servers (SP2). When configuring sound notification in Outlook

2003 and via control panel/sounds, it doesn't work, when a new mail arrives.

If i use Outlook express with the same settings in control panel/sounds, the

configured soundfile (notification.wav) is played when a new mail arrives.

Any hints for me?

Looks like something specific to Outlook. Try posting this question to

microsoft.public.outlook.general.
