Guest Elmer Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 I encounter this problem when I try to boot up or restart my PC, Login page does not shows up ( I was stuck in between Microsoft logo and login page but the mouse is still moving, it seems that windows is active but cant show the login). What I have done to be able to login again is to boot on safe mode and use system restore to return to its previous setting. By the way, I didnt change any settings when I have rebooted and started to encounter this problem. It just suddenly happened. Can you help how to prevent this problem without using system restore

To answer your question: To prevent a recurrence, avoid the above items. Since this is your own machine, you're in the best position to know what you did to it and which web pages you visited just before the problem started.
