Re: USB Drive

Some new/recent USB flash drives employ a new technology called U3.

The drive will appear as both a USB Mass Storage device and also have

an entry in the CD/DVD drives category. The technology is designed to

allow users to carry applications along with data on the Flash drive. If

you don't want U3 capability many vendors provide an uninstall utility.

Or just (re) format it (before putting your stuff on it, obviously). BTDT

And make it a basic USB flash drive, without the junk.
