whenever i visit a web site there are loads of blank red squares on the

page instead of thumbnails or pictures.

is this normal or is there a reason for it ?

i have microsoft xp. and my i.s.o is virgin media.

i have noticed that i have 2 firewalls i.e windows and the virgin firewall

that comes with virgin p.c guard.

is this the cause ? should i turn one off ?

Are you using IE7 or Firefox? If the former, look in Internet Options.

Some software is blocking images. I don't think the browser is doing

it, and the Windows firewall doesn't have such a feature. Look through

the Virgin P.C. Guard settings for such a feature.
