Hello,

I've been having an odd problem for weeks not, my CTRL+Z doesn't work for anything, any program what so ever. At first I thought it was my keyboard even though the CTRL and Z worked fine separately but after trying a different keyboard and even the 'On Screen Keyboard' CTRL+Z wouldn't work for either.

Every other CTRL+ command works fine such as CTRL+C and CTRL+V, it's only CTRL+Z.

In a program I use called Blender I can change the hotkeys for tools and I was trying all sorts of CTRL+ combination, they all registered fine but when I went to use CTRL+Z then Ctrl would register but it would reset to nothing as soon as I also pressed Z.

CTRL+Z is the command for undo. Try it in notepad to undo what you typed last. Does it work there?

Nope, it doesn't work in any program or any game.

The computer just isn't registering CTRL+Z is being pressed at all. Yet CTRL and Z both work fine separately.

Keno have you updated the software and hardware drivers lately/

If yes a roll back to the older software may work or if no you have not updated then try an update/

Other than general hardware, software failures; I'm wondering if you've got a program running in the background that's messing with your keyboard shortcuts. I'd be interested to know if your CTRL+Z still works in Safe Mode (where unnecessary applications would not be run during startup).
