Terminal Services Roaming Profiles

Hello,

I am in the process of setting up roaming profiles for our 200 or so ts

users. But so I get this right first time I have a few queries:-

1. We use a mixture of windows 2003 Enterprise & 2003 R2 Enterprise will

this cause a problem with peoples access on a different server. Across

our 8 servers things are a mixture of the above OS's.

2.Is it ok just to user a group policy change to point users to the

profile directory (ie with everything in their profile) or would I need

to use folder redirection for mydocs and mypics? I'm not to sure which

is the best way to go with this?

Thanks in advance

Matt

Re: Terminal Services Roaming Profiles

1. That should not be a problem.

2. In addition to the GP you will have to enable folder redirection for

mydocs and mypics. Make sure users have permission to the redirected

location. You can find more at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/274443.
