In the properties of the Windows folder it show that there 27GB in inside but if i go in, select all file and folders it show me only 4.4GB... so i miss around 23GB. The option to show hidden files and folder is checked.... Thanks for your help! Cris

Guest JohnB Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Re: "windows" folder too big... On both Properties screens, it will show the number of files and folders. Is it the same for the Windows folder as it is for sub-folders & files? If it isn't; do you have "Hide protected Operating System files" checked? Uncheck that and I bet they'll both be the same.
