Lack of Server 2008 Applications

Trend Micro now says that its Worry-Free Business Security Messaging

Agent will not run on Windows Server 2008 until September or October. While

I plan to complain to Trend Micro about this, my boss suggested that I

complain to Microsoft as well. Does anyone have an appropriate e-mail

address of someone to handle such a complaint? Six months is a long time to

keep customers waiting for a product these days when the life cycle of the

product is perhaps only a year or two.

Hello Andrew,

Why will your boss complain to MS? They are not the problem, if Trend Micro

is not able to provide running software for the new OS earlier. Sorry but

ithink your boss has not understand the way business works. First come, first

serve. 2008 is announced very very long before, with a lot of RC versions

and a lot of companies are able to provide solutions.

Best regards

Apologizes for not understanding your problem. However, I honestly

cannot understand why your Boss wants a barrage of complains made to

various companies.

Why would MS receive a complain, for a product it has not made.

MS has made Windows 2008 for its end users not for users using some

Trend Micro. I am not trying to make a big deal of this topic, however

i fail to understand what would MS do to help you when MS does not

know the basic coding of what Trend Micro use. Understand this part

that an MS rep would basically laugh at your BOSS, when such a

complain is made, since MS is not responsible for any product that it

does not produce / code / sell.
