Guest Juan I. Cahis Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Dear friends: How to delete the uninstall feature of SP3, including all the archived copies of the replaced original SP2 files? SP3 is working well on my machine. Thanks Juan I. Cahis Santiago de Chile (South America) Note: Please forgive me for my bad English, I am trying to improve it!

Guest Gerry Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Re: How to delete the uninstall feature of SP3? Bear I want to emphasize Bill's caveat in bold above: If you delete these folders & files, you will NOT be able to uninstall WinXP SP3 and return to WinXP SP2, should the need arise. I think this would be more correct if you added the caveat "without reinstalling Windows XP". -- Regards.
