Guest Joe Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Can anyone tell me how to stop the following message from being logged: Event Type: Error Event Source: ati2mtag Event Category: CRT Event ID: 45062 Date: 6/19/2008 Time: 4:02:11 PM User: N/A Computer: SAVITREE Description: CRT invalid display type Data: 0000: 00 00 00 00 01 00 5a 00 ......Z. 0008: 2c 00 00 00 06 b0 00 c0 ,....°.À 0010: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ........ 0018: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ........ 0020: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ........ I do have an ATI graphics card, but the Event Source is a Windows file. In fact, I tried uninstalling my ATI Windows driver (includes both the ones from ATI & Microsoft) but the system saw "ati2mtag" as a protected file & reinstalled it. With only the Windows driver installed, I received no error message. I then installed the latest ATI driver (released 6-18-2008) & the log entry reappears upon every boot. I have WXP Professional with SP3 installed. -- Joe Davis
