I was doing good, then... Help!!!

Hi:

I have been doing really good. Got Terminal Server running, got my

single application starting on auto login... I was feeling really good.

Just the VPN left.

Then... Yea!!! Ok, when I log on to the Server, the machine it's self,

as Administrator, go to Programs, to Administrative Tools, then click on

"Terminal Services Manager", it used to open up a window where I could

monitor the connections, see who is log on and terminate users, etc. Now

when I click on 'Terminal Services Manager' it just puts a depressed icon

(the small bar with a title in it) on the taskbar, and no window open, nor

can I right click on it for a menu. It is titled: Untitled-Terminal Services

Ma.......

You have to go to Task Manager to close it. I want to be able to see who

is using the Terminal server, and need the window to display.

Help???

Ahhhh... yea.

I created another account, made that account an Admin. With that new admin

account I deleted the Administrator profile under My computer, right click,

properties, advanced, User Profiles. I really didn't have much entered in the

profile so... and it fixed the problem when I logged back on as Administrator.

I'm glad that you have solved the problem!

In case it happens again (which is bound to happen if you access TS

Manager in a remote session to your TS), you might want to read

this:

Terminal Services Administration tool starts minimized and can't be

maximized

Vera:

Wow!!! I was thinking there would be a registry hack to solve my issue,

but I wanted to keep moving on the project so I went at it with a machete.

Your site is and has been very helpful to my project!! Damm, when I started

the project I didn't even know what Terminal Server was. Now I have one

working with all kind of fancy tricks... it is really cool.

I have another question and will start a thread for tht.

Thanks again,
