xp home switching user error

I have two users. When switching from one user to the other I get the error "

Windows cannot load user's profile........ Detail: insufficient resources

exist to complete the requested service.

 

I have 1gig memory 550m available. 137m paged. 80 gig hd using 20%.

 

This just started and is getting worse. I have to shutdown/restart to log on

to a different user.
