IIS 5.0 on XP Pro problem

I can not get my default web site to open in IIS at all (see below).

 

I have reinstalled IIS 4 times, deleted the inetpub folder before I

reinstall each time,

tried the permissions adjustment on localstart.asp, everything set to

anonymous, no go.

 

Yet, if I create a test file (asp) in a virtual directory within my default

web site, works great!

 

HELP!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The page cannot be displayed

There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be

displayed.

Open the localhost home page, and then look for links to the information you
