Guest Laura2008 Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 I am seeing that I have 2 internet connections enabled at the same time...why is this and do I need to delete one? I have broadband connection through my local phone sevice but I do not understand why I have 2 connections? Help anyone???

Use the actual words describing the connections, not your approximation of them. If you are seeing more than one entry in Local Area Connections, right-click on each one and see what its Properties are. Include that information in your post. Should I have both? Or how do I know which is the one to use?

One of these devices is a Globespan Virata USB modem. This is apparently what you are using to get to the Internet. The Intel entry is for your ethernet network adapter.
