Guest Dan Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 I was wondering how I could make sure all my active x components like Flash Player are updated to the latest version without having to go to all the sites and check for the latest version.

No, I'm sorry but there is no "Push The Big Red Button" updater for this sort of thing. It would be nice, though. ;-) Malke -- MS-MVP Elephant Boy Computers http://www.elephantboycomputers.com Don't Panic!

What version of IE? If IE6, open Internet Options, General tab, click Settings, "View Objects", right-click each component, click "Update". IE7 is a little harder to find but the buttons are similarly placed. -- Joe =o)

Guest Dan Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 Re: Is there any way to easily update Active X components? Thank you and this was the response I was looking for. The version of Internet Explorer is version 7 but it certainly would be nice to have an updater within Windows to quickly update all of your Active X components.
