Jelly Bean Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 Hello there. Ok lets try a few things... Firstly this usaly points to graphics card or RAM. Power off the computer and remove from power outlet. Open up the computer and touch the power supply for a few seconds to eliminate static. If you have more than one RAM/Memory sticks remove all but one.Power up the computer does it still beep? Do this with every stick of RAM individualy. If your graphics card is a PCI slot card. Remove the card and clean it if needs be. Resit the card in its slot and power on the computer. Does it still beep? Or resetting the BIOS may help. Simply power off the computer. Remove the BIOS battery and count 10,replace battery and restart the computer. Has the beeps stopped? ommarshakir Posted May 14, 2011 Author Posted May 14, 2011 i tried all even resetting the bios, PSU, ram, graphics card.. the beep stopped it boots but nothing shows in the screen.. Quote
nikomou Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 looks like a problem with the graphics card.. If its in the pci slot, do you have a spare lying about to see if that would work? Quote
tenshin5426 Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 if you have reseated/removed all items it could be the motherboard failing POST (power on self test) and could indicate a few things really, naff mobo, dodgy psu not giving enough power along the rails, or even cpu failure. not ideal in any circumstance one other thing to try is removing the f panel connectors for example front usbs, cardreaders or sound as sometimes a damaged from port can cause suspended boot.
