yes the tv manual says for vga 640 x 480 but the lowest i can seem to get my pc is 800 x 600. not sure if it can be made to go lower or if i need to add something to my pc??

hi i am trying to connect my pc to my tv. it displays the bootup screen and then the microsoft loading screen then goes blank and say's no sync. I have connected my laptop to the same tv with no problems at all. the tv is a sony kdl 32s300 if that helps.

i am trying to upgrade my old pc to a type of media centre to connect to my tv. i was hoping the hdmi would be the best way to connect it. at the moment i connect my laptop to my tv via vga but the have to use speakers plugged into my laptop for sound witch is a bit of a pain as i use it for work. so was trying to be a bit eco (lol)

i am not to hot on motherboards so any help would be great. i have an abit sg - 72 and am looking to fit the an Asus 1GB Geforce 9400GT PCI Express sound card. does anybody know if this will fit?? thanks in advance adam3822

so i guess using an external drive to copy all i want to keep to it the set it up on the new desktop as i would like would be the best way around it.

hi i have two desktops but am looking to build them into one i have taken the hard drive out of one and placed into the other (set to slave) but i can only seem to find 90% of the files etc that i want to use. but for some reason i can not access my photos etc on the drive acting as the slave. any help would be great cheers

well did not clean up at all last night always makes a clicking noise when first starts but has never caused a problem. the last line in safe mode says: multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\volsnap.sys

Hi there not to sure ifposted in right area?!? anyway a problem i hope you can help with i have just moved home and i have just got round to setting my desktop back up. last night all was good. come down and turned on this morning and it starts up but seems to freeze just before the windows logo/loading screen. hope you can help, thanks ad.

hi i have just uninstalled mcafee from my pc. now when i log onto my pc a message pops up from Mcafee activeshield saying: resource DII is missing. please reinstall the application. any ideas on how to stop this pop up would be great, also if i look in my c;\ drive there is also a couple of files that look as if they are faded but are still visable (if you could shed some light onto why that is also that would be good. I have tried to restore my pc to before i removed mcafee but it can not do it Cheers Ad
