I just upgraded to windows 10. I was doing a scan with house call online and it found IndigoJunoIQV manufacture unknown in msconfig/system configuration but it could not remove it. I have searched the net and no search results come up for that. I ran windows defenders and it did not recognize it as a threat, and I ran avg and it did not recognize it as a threat. Renz from online support solved the mystery.. It is part of Windows 10 after the latest update. To be safe he did do a system scan for a breach in the integrity and the scan came out clean. Can a Rootkit be Totally annihilated by Scanning through Defender? What if it is deeply embedded in the OS itself, finding root on some apps or file or even in user and kernel levels. A week ago I was watching videos on Youtube. Then all of a sudden, a new window on pops up saying its a Microsoft webpage, and that that it has detected a virus and spyware in my computer. It was also asking me for my Microsoft username and password, and was saying that I visited some website that was illegal and I would have to pay a fine or end up in prison, but I never visited any website that was illegal. I assumed it was just a scam, and shut down my computer so it would go away. However, this morning that exact same pop up appeared, saying all the same stuff and asked or my username and password again.
