Windows Defender pop-up "Virus & Threats" says Threats found by antivirus I have scanned and run troubleshooter etc. The report says NO THREATs but a pop-up with notification sound keeps going off. I click and it shows details: items quarantined. I click "remove" ? they are removed. Seconds later the whole thing happens again. Same warning, same sound, same report. I just upgraded to windows 10. I was doing a scan with house call online and it found IndigoJunoIQV manufacture unknown in msconfig/system configuration but it could not remove it. I have searched the net and no search results come up for that. I ran windows defenders and it did not recognize it as a threat, and I ran avg and it did not recognize it as a threat. Can a Rootkit be Totally annihilated by Scanning through Defender? What if it is deeply embedded in the OS itself, finding root on some apps or file or even in user and kernel levels.
